Because civic and academic buildings have an extended life, my design
approach to the interiors of such buildings, whether new or existing, is to develop timeless and lasting design concepts, elements and enduring finishes. My quest
is to understand the role the building will play in the civic or campus life, which leads me on a path of blending form, light, mass, color, space, texture, pattern and materials to create singular interior spaces, responsive to the vision and program needs of the Client´s program. Over my life as an interior designer,
I have created such interiors for major buildings in cities of diverse sizes and for major academic institutions.
