

Ms. Martin-Vegue founded Martin-Vegue Design Studio after 20 years as a Principal and founder of the architecture/interiors/planning firm of Simon Martin-Vegue Winkelstein Moris, SMWM. Her 35 years of experience encompass design and management of healthcare, hospitality, civic, educational, corporate and commercial projects in both rehabilitation and new construction.
Ms. Martin-Vegue was awarded the ASID Designer of Distinction Award for 1997 and is featured as one America´s top interior designers in Beverly Russell´s book, Women of Design; Contemporary American Interiors, 32 profiles of the first generation of women to dominate commercial interior design.
The diversity of her portfolio of projects indicates Ms. Martin-Vegue´s ability to apply her experience and conceptual thinking on a variety of project types. Her twin abilities of listening effectively to the client´s vision, combined with an intelligent, collaborative client/team spirit has worked to create most successful end products through the process of the client´s original goals.
